Feb 04, 2019. Mitsubishi Electric Corporation has developed two technologies for gas-insulated switchgear. An arc-cooling technology achieves a 25 percent improvement in the interruption of electrical current in sulfur-fluoride (Sulfr hexafluoride) gas-insulated switchgear used in high-voltage power systems. Also, a high-density dielectric coating technology improves insulation performance by 30 percent in high-voltage conductors.
